Brewkulele is an event centered around learning songs on the ukulele, enjoying the hosting venue's delicious offerings, and having a fun night out with friends and other like-minded people . Brewkulele is for all levels of ukulele players, from never having played before to regular hobbyists. Each event will have a different song to learn. You can attend Brewkulele regularly and learn a different song at each event!
Absolutely not! This class is for all levels of ukulelists (or ukulelians?). All songs can be adjusted to your level of experience.
Brewkulele is a unique event in which you will be instructed, step-by-step, by a world-class teacher to learn some great songs on the ukulele in a fun, supportive, non-judgmental environment. The atmosphere is created by the participants. You should expect to learn some fun songs, sing along, relax, laugh, meet exciting new friends, and most of all have a good time!
You only need to bring yourself and any friends you'd like to have a fun night out with at Brewkulele! We will supply the ukuleles, a music stand, and any additional supplies you may need.We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to find your seat, enjoy the atmosphere, get comfortable, and have a drink! Seating is first come, first served.
Events will run from 90 minutes to 2 hours. At the end of which you will be surprised at your newly learned talent through the exciting songs you’ve learned!
Yes. The ukuleles used in class are for sale. In addition, Centre Music House has a great selection of ukuleles at their location at 18 Main Street in Framingham.
Some of our events will be 21 and up while others will be all ages. Please be sure to review the event prior to purchase to ensure the appropriate age groups. If you are unsure, please email us at info@brewkulele.com and we will be happy to confirm the age limits for each event.
We recommend using the ukuleles provided during the event. The ukuleles we provide are specifically set up to facilitate learning the song.
Our events are limited only to paying attendees.
There are many left-handed musicians that play on standard (righty) instruments (including this writer ;). If you have never played before, we suggest that you try the standard ukulele we provide at the events.
For experienced players who are playing left-handed ukuleles, you are welcome to bring your left-handed ukulele to the event. If the chord diagrams are difficult to read, your Brewkulele guide will assist you.
